I finished this tattoo for my friend Patrick a while ago, I think it’s been healed for about a year now, i love this tattoo but i wish everyone could see it in person, iv e really enjoyed seeing healed japanese style work come back through the shop. every time i see a client who i haven’t seen in a year or two and they have some large japanese inspired work, it just proves to me why this style is so important. These kind of tattoos seem to get better with time, which for artists and clients is always going to be important. My concern is always to create powerful tattoos that communicate grace and beauty while standing the test of time. For me the traditional genres of tattooing provide the perfect avenue for that pursuit. Thanks to Patrick and all my clients for giving me the opportunity to work towards that goal.
