I love this Tattoo, I’ve made a copy of it and sent it to my local Tattooist and he is gonna tattoo me on the 1st of May, i was wandering if you had a picture of the front and back, so i have an idea about what the whole thing looks like, Thanks.

I know this model – and all of your work you’ve done on her is really superb.

flower cover up

When you get a cover up it’s always going to be bigger than the original tattoo. Well Melanie’s original tattoo on her lower back was about the size of  half dollar, and this is what i came up with… She did want it to be her whole back. Your cover ups don’t have to be this much bigger, I just think it’s funny this is a cover up of a small tattoo. Her skin is textured towards the bottom of the tattoo because when you get some new work your pores will open a little bit, but do go down even later in the day. I don’t have a healed up photo of the tattoo but I saw it recently and had healed up perfect. Danielle

masked mermaid

This is Daniel’s first tattoo, and I don’t think his last. We did this all in one long power session when my appointment after him decided to not show up or call. Daniel had a great idea for this tattoo, a masked mermaid, I loved it from the second I read the email and had ideas. The only thing I ended up changing with my drawing was adding some hair to cover her up a little bit. I always think about my first tattoo when someone is getting their first. What a different experience. I got my tattoo at a shop cause they had a coupon and didn’t know what a fake ID looked like. I did no research, did not care who did it, or even knew to look at their portfolios. Daniel was real flattering in telling me he did the opposite and really took his time to find out who he wanted to do his tattoo, and even mentioned that he saw my 100 ladies paintings and that sealed the deal for him. So i’m glad that my hard work pays off in being able to get the opportunity to get these great clients with amazing ideas. Thanks. danielle

Hieronymus Bosch

It’s not every day someone comes in with a reference from a Hieronymus Bosch painting. If you are unaware of his paintings I would suggest you make yourself aware. Dude was on some wicked shit when you would get burned for being into wicked shit. Bosch died in 1516 to give you an idea of how ahead of the curve this dude was. This little guy is from the painting “Temptation of St. Anthony”. enjoy and thanks for looking. Charles
