fancy script

I just realized this is the second band lyrics i’m posting in fancy script. Keep them coming I love doing script. These lyrics are from Alkaline Trio’s song Crawl. She sat so well especially since after we finished the first foot she found out her boyfriend’s car had just been broken in to and his school bag was gone with his laptop, expensive books, and more electronics! Atlanta keep your stuff out of your car when you are not there, where ever you are parked. danielle

Crawl

Waking up zeroed in on medicine
Am I waking up at all today
Seeing lights, feeling pain
There’s my cure on ice
I can walk but I will crawl there
I will crawl there
Sitting straight, feeling faint
An exhausted smile screens my words
But I will hear them
Here’s a phrase that we all know
But I can’t make sense
I don’t know words but I will hear them
I still hear them
Never ran away for the sake of scars
Tried not to move but she was armed
And shots were fired
Now a hole in the head of this wounded liar
Never had a drink that I didn’t like
Got a taste of you, threw up all night
I got more sick
With every sour second rate kiss
Everything I never would miss again
I don’t know who your boyfriend is

love it, love it!!!

we have a shop guy

His name is Hank. Today is his first day working with us and we just wanted to introduce him to everyone  so if some guy answers the phone and doesn’t know what to say or do than you know why. As the shop gets busier we’ve really needed an extra hand around here. Hank will be booking appointments and doing things around the shop which will make it easier for everyone to get on the books faster and have phone calls answered even if we are working. There is still always access to the artists and we are here to answer any questions that you need still. Be nice to him even if he doesn’t know what he is doing, he’ll get the hang out it soon… hopefully. Also check out one of Hank’s many bands Foundation atlanta hardcore they have a new record coming out soon.  OYT

jet black to the center

Jawbreaker was a great band for any punk rock/indie kid growing up in the early 90’s, but still speaks to that same generation years later. They were one of my favorite bands as a kid, and still played every week at the shop at least once. I love that marissa wanted to get the song Jet Black tattooed on her.

JET BLACK

I’ll be quiet to keep you quiet.
Don’t concern yourself with my slow dying.
Through the vents I hear you sigh.
I don’t get too high these days.
Your floor is my ceiling.
Lights out, you can’t come in.
If you don’t remind me, I won’t forget you.
If you don’t ask, I won’t upset you.
I am jet black.
I am stone cold.
Jet black to the center.
Funny like a funeral.
I need you to bury me.
White noise in black room dust.
These hands long for one last touch.
Hourglass all out of trust.
I don’t scratch so I won’t itch.
I don’t reach so I won’t miss.
I taste our last kiss.
This is the cure: the same as the symptom.
Simple and pure: break to keep fixing.
Patiently nurse, patient and nurse.
This is the part I wouldn’t show you.
The part where you say, “I don’t even know you.”
This is your cue.
Be glad it’s through.
